Maternity system

The Maternity system has a large number of modules – Booking, Tests, Day Care, Admissions, Induction/Acceleration, Labour and Discharge, Caesarean Section, OVD, Post Natal and others.

Output consists of a large range of internal, external and official items - discharge letters, reports, analysis and Coppish SMR02 automatic output. Ad hoc queries and reports developed by departmental staff provide a significant research and audit benefit for management and students.

In terms of numbers at the last count the system was operating on 32 PC’s with up to 12 concurrent users on a normal day. There were 18,000 patients, 32,000 patients and 18,000 labour records.
